Day trip Abkhazia from Sochi: Sukhumi - Novy Afon – Gagra
Pick up at your chosen hotel in Sochi (you choose from the hotels offered in the booking form). Bus travel via railway station Sochi-Adler and crossing border.
Bus tour along the Black Sea to Sukhum is about 100 km, arriving Sukhumi about 12:30 pm.
Sukhumi city tour with Botanical Garden, Liberty Square, Monastery of St. John Chrysostom, Evangelical Lutheran Church, walk at seaside and visit the bridge Besletskiy from the early Middle Ages. Lunch with Abkhazian cuisine. In the meantime your visa has been picked up for you.
Around 15:00 pm you reach Novy Afon.
Novy Afon tour with ruins of the fortress Anakopija, Church of St. Simon, waterfall with Swan Lake, Monastery Novy Afon Simona Kanonita.
Opportunity to walk through the coastparc or visit the cave Novoafonskaja (entrance fee is not included in the tour price)
Continue tour by bus to Gagra, arriving about 18:00 pm.
Gagra city tour with park, colonnade and visitthe legendary restaurant Gagripsh.
Return to Sochi, arrival about 20:30 pm.
